Job Description

The Sr. Process Engineer (Photolithography) will be at the forefront of technology working with a dedicated team to enable innovative developments in process integration within a preproduction environment. This role involves providing development support for onsite installations and process integration of photolithography semiconductor equipment primarily in the Hillsboro Oregon area. Successful candidates may receive specialized training in Texas Oregon or Japan for a duration of 13 months. Fulltime presence at assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory is required.

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience or knowledge in optical lasers software robotics precision mechanics or chemicals
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system preferred for troubleshooting
  • Handson mechanical skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for equipment process qualification development and improvement projects
  • Establish new wafer fabrication process technology for semiconductor device manufacturing
  • Design and conduct tests analyze and present data and conclusions
  • Collaborate with experts to enhance the manufacturing process
  • Perform evaluations on new hardware and software
  • Identify issues and collaborate with the Canon team for resolutions
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external review
  • Interact with customers with limited supervision

Qualifications

  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge and experience in photolithography equipment
  • Experience in a support role for semiconductor manufacturing processes

Education Requirements

  • PhD degree preferred
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in a related field may be acceptable

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Doctoral degree preferred

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor process engineering
  • Experience in photolithography systems and processes is required
