Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to manage the migration of our databases specifically transitioning to MongoDB. This role requires expertise in handling largescale databases and ensuring smooth secure data migrations with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the migration of databases to MongoDB ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and manage data storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues during and after migration.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align data migration strategies with business goals.
- Monitor and optimize database systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards throughout the migration process.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in database migration and management.
- Handson experience migrating large databases to MongoDB.
- Strong knowledge of SQL NoSQL databases and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with ETL processes and building data warehouses.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS GCP or Azure).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with financial data or in the mortgage industry.
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
