Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Reinsurance Analyst with a strong background in facultative reinsurance contracts and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field demonstrating expertise in assessing coverage overlaps and gaps with treaty contracts. Familiarity with reinsurance tools such as Sapiens Reinsurance Master (SRM) or similar products is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze facultative reinsurance contracts ensuring a thorough understanding of coverage details and identifying any overlaps or gaps with treaty contracts.
- Utilize SRM or other reinsurance tools/products to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
- Comprehend complex reinsurance contract tower setups across different lines of business and effectively summarize findings for the team.
- Work extensively with data tables in SQL and leverage advanced Excel skills for indepth analysis and reporting.
- Provide valuable insights from the reinsurance domain during data analysis discussions contributing to informed decisionmaking within the larger team.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in the reinsurance industry specifically with facultative contracts.
- Expertise in data analysis and contract review with a strong ability to identify coverage gaps and overlaps.
- Proficiency in using SRM or equivalent reinsurance management tools/products.
- Strong SQL skills for managing and analyzing data tables.
- Exceptional Excel capabilities for data analysis and report generation.
- Ability to convey complex reinsurance concepts clearly and effectively to team members.
Requirements: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent 5+ years Salesforce development experience across multiple clouds 5+ years of experience with technical Salesforce implementations & development projects 4 + years in a consulting environment Strong client management & client communication experience 3+ years experience in Financial Services (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management expertise highly desired) 2+ years Financial Service Cloud (FSC) required Strong understanding of relational databases & working with large data sets Application development experience with Apex, JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL or similar Proficiency with APIs -- REST and SOAP-based web services (SOA) Experience in Object Oriented concepts and design, experience with OO languages Proficient in SFDC technologies including configuration and custom development Active in the Salesforce or other technical communities in the form of blogs, stack exchange posts, github and the like. Preferred Skills & Attributes: Experience working with On & Off-Shore teams Leadership/mentorship of more junior developers & other technologists Polyglot with experience in both OO and functional programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript One or more current Salesforce.com certifications Nice to Have experience; nCino, velocity, Omni, MuleSoft
