Job Description
We are seeking a Prophet 21 Technical yst with 57 years of experience to join our clients team in a fully remote role. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleing Prophet 21 (P21) applications developing custom reports performing DynaChange screen customizations providing SQL support and offering technical istance to over 350 users. Experience with P21 POS is a plus. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to provide expertlevel support in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced troubleing and support for Prophet 21 (P21) applications.
- Manage and customize DynaChange screens to enhance user experience and system performance.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries stored procedures and scripts for reporting and data ysis.
- Create and modify reports utilizing P21 and other relevant tools (e.g. SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS).
- Support 350 users by resolving system issues offering training and ensuring optimal use of P21 functionality.
- Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements implement solutions and ensure the smooth operation of Prophet 21.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize P21 workflows.
- Doent processes technical specifications and user guides for customizations and solutions.
- Collaborate with thirdparty vendors as needed for system upgrades patches and troubleing.
- Stay uptodate on P21 system updates and emerging technologies to continuously improve system performance.
Qualifications:
- 57 years of experience in Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system administration troubleing and customization.
- Strong knowledge of DynaChange functionality and screen customizations.
- Proficient in SQL including writing complex queries stored procedures and database troubleing.
- Handson experience with report development (SSRS or other reporting tools).
- Proven ability to provide user support and trouble P21 issues in a highdemand environment.
- Strong problemsolving ss with the ability to yze issues identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication ss both written and verbal with the ability to train users and doent technical procedures.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
- Experience supporting a large user base (preferably 350 users).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with P21 POS (Point of Sale) functionality.
- Experience with system integrations and API configurations related to Prophet 21.
- Knowledge of other ERP systems or similar platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with business processes in distribution or supply chain environments.
