Job Description: Onsite Desktop Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite technical support for desktop computers peripherals and software applications.
- Trouble hardware and software issues escalate problems when necessary and ensure timely resolution.
- Set up and configure new desktops/laptops and deploy software updates as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates virus protection and data backups.
- ist users with technical support training and guidance on ITrelated matters.
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software ets and ensure proper doentation.
- Collaborate with IT team members to optimize IT infrastructure and enhance system performance.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a desktop support technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware software and networks.
- Excellent troubleing and problemsolving ss.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desired Experience:
- Certifications in IT support or related field (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
- Experience with Active Directory email systems and remote desktop support tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
- Knowledge of IT security protocols and data protection measures.
