Job Description
Responsibilities:
Demonstrating deep technical knowledge and expertise in software development including programming languages frameworks and best practices.
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Actively contribute to the implementation of critical features and complex technical solutions.
Write clean efficient and maintainable code that meets the highest standards of quality.
Write defensive fault tolerant and efficient code for data processing
Provide guidance on scalable robust and efficient solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Use emerging and opensource technologies such as Spark Hadoop and Scala.
Quantexa Certified Data Engineer
Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to mive amounts of data and information.
Take on adhoc tasks as required
Requirements
Required Ss:
Quantexa Certified Data Engineer or Experience with Quantexa
Familiarity with opensource data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g. Spark Kafka Trino) is a valuable et
Exposure to a range of table and file formats including Hive Parquet and JSON
Experience in cloud native technologies and patterns (AWS Google Cloud)
Experience of driving and/or influencing the data strategy of your team or organization
Nice to have ss:
Banking domain Domain knowledge
Education: Bachelors Degree
Requirements: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent 5+ years Salesforce development experience across multiple clouds 5+ years of experience with technical Salesforce implementations & development projects 4 + years in a consulting environment Strong client management & client communication experience 3+ years experience in Financial Services (Banking, Wealth & et Management expertise highly desired) 2+ years Financial Service Cloud (FSC) required Strong understanding of relational databases & working with large data sets Application development experience with Apex, JavaScript, Java, C#, SQL or similar Proficiency with APIs -- REST and SOAP-based web services (SOA) Experience in Object Oriented concepts and design, experience with OO languages Proficient in SFDC technologies including configuration and custom development Active in the Salesforce or other technical communities in the form of blogs, stack exchange posts, github and the like. Preferred Ss & Attributes: Experience working with On & Off-Shore teams Leadership/mentorship of more junior developers & other technologists Polyglot with experience in both OO and functional programming languages like Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript One or more current Salesforce.com certifications Nice to Have experience; nCino, velocity, Omni, MuleSoft
