Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough examinations and evaluations of patients gynaecological health
- Diagnosing and treating gynaecological conditions and disorders
- Performing surgeries such as hysterectomies laparoscopies and other gynaecological procedures
- Managing prenatal care including regular checkups and monitoring of fetal development
- Providing postnatal care and addressing any complications or concerns
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Providing gynaecological consultations and recommendations to other medical professionals
- Utilizing medical equipment and tools for diagnostic and treatment purposes
- Collaborating with obstetricians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Keeping accurate and detailed patient records
- Participating in departmental meetings training sessions and professional development activities
- Staying updated on the latest advancements and research in gynaecology
- Supervising junior medical staff and providing guidance and mentorship
- Ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards in patient care
- Participating in community outreach and educational initiatives related to womens health
Required Qualifications:
- MD or MS in Gynaecology from a recognized institution
- Valid medical license to practice as a Gynaecologist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating gynaecological conditions and performing surgeries
- Thorough knowledge of obstetrics and gynaecology principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a medical unit
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care
- Willingness to keep abreast of advancements in gynaecology and womens health
- Capability to handle highpressure situations and emergency cases effectively
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and tools
- Experience in supervising and mentoring medical staff
