Job Description

PMM Group is a strategic partner offering efficient workforce solutions across Europe and the Middle East. We specialize in recruitment staff leasing and workforce solutions ensuring seamless execution of projects of all sizes.

We are seeking a Quality (QA/QC) Inspector Civil to ensure adherence to quality assurance and control standards for a major energy infrastructure project in Corsica.

This role involves monitoring compliance with QA/QC procedures performing inspections and upholding the highest standards in construction quality.

Tasks

As a Quality (QA/QC) Inspector Civil your responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conducting preinspections and monitoring onsite activities including soil compaction concrete testing and structural inspections.
  • Ensuring compliance with Inspection Test Plans (ITP) project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Coordinating with the QA/QC manager to develop quality control procedures and reports.
  • Monitoring construction progress against contractual work schedules.
  • Ensuring that all activities comply with health safety and environmental standards.
  • Preparing activity reports and maintaining documentation for QA/QC activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role candidates must have:

  • Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
  • A Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • At least 810 years of experience in quality assurance/control including 5 years in construction quality management.
  • Certification in ISO 9001 AWS CWI or CSWIP SWI (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards such as ISO 9000 ASME ANSI and ASTM.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings standards and codes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
