We are seeking a Civil Building Supervisor to oversee and manage the civil and building construction activities for a pivotal energy infrastructure project in Corsica. This role ensures compliance with HSE standards and quality control requirements.
Tasks
As a Civil Building Supervisor your responsibilities include:
- Supervising civil and building construction activities from prefabrication to final erection.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies on health safety environment and quality.
- Organizing and coordinating resources including personnel materials and equipment.
- Overseeing and verifying site readiness for construction tasks such as lifting excavation and concrete pouring.
- Collaborating with the QA/QC department for inspections and certifications.
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Reporting progress manpower utilization and equipment status to the Civil/Building Superintendent.
Requirements
To succeed in this role candidates must have:
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and professional proficiency in English.
- A high school degree in a technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction with supervisory roles in oil and energy projects over the last 3 years.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering and construction drawings.
- Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
