We are seeking a Field Engineer to join a landmark energy infrastructure modernization project in Corsica. This role provides technical support and site engineering services crucial for construction success.
Tasks
As a Field Engineer your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support and resolving queries for construction activities.
- Reviewing engineering project documentation and managing amendments or additions.
- Preparing site technical queries field sketches and modifications to project drawings.
- Assisting in the development of method statements lifting plans and test packs.
- Supporting constructability studies and coordinating material management within your discipline.
- Ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards and assisting inspections as needed.
- Managing updates to project information within construction management systems.
Requirements
To excel in this role candidates should have:
- A Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in field engineering roles within industrial construction or EPC projects.
- Proficiency in CAD surveying techniques and engineering software.
- Fluency in French and English with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and teamwork skills.
