We are seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead site engineering operations for a prominent energy infrastructure modernization project in Corsica. This role is critical in ensuring the alignment of engineering construction and project goals.
Tasks
As a Field Engineering Manager you will:
- Act as the primary liaison between site operations and Home Office Engineering.
- Lead a team of field engineers managing site engineering and technical followups.
- Supervise site documentation control and coordinate the preparation of asbuilt records.
- Review and issue site technical queries including modifications to engineering drawings.
- Develop and validate construction documents such as method statements lifting plans and test packs.
- Support construction management with feasibility studies planning and scheduling.
- Ensure coordination with subcontractors QA/QC teams and material management.
- Facilitate constructability studies and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Provide engineering insights to procurement and participate in the evaluation of bids.
Requirements
To qualify candidates should have:
- A Bachelors degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field engineering roles within industrial construction or EPC projects.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering standards surveying and CAD software.
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and French with the ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Demonstrated leadership analytical and problemsolving skills.
