Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

1. Branch Operations Management:

  • Support Daily Operations: Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring all activities are carried out efficiently, and according to company policies and standards.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor the operational processes to ensure they are streamlined and cost-effective. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Address operational issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to branch services or performance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that the branch adheres to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance standards, including industry-specific regulations and company policies.

2. Staff Supervision and Leadership:

  • Team Management: Supervise and lead branch staff, including customer service representatives, sales personnel, and administrative employees. Oversee their day-to-day performance and productivity.
  • Training and Development: Ensure staff are properly trained and up-to-date on product offerings, customer service expectations, and operational procedures. Promote ongoing professional development.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance through KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide regular feedback. Address performance gaps and help with corrective actions or performance improvement plans.
  • Motivation and Morale: Foster a positive work environment by motivating employees, managing team dynamics, and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.

3. Financial Management and Budgeting:

  • Monitor Financial Performance: Assist in managing the branch's financial health by tracking revenues, costs, and expenses. Ensure that the branch stays within budget and meets financial goals.
  • Support Budgeting and Forecasting: Help in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Review and analyze financial performance and suggest corrective actions where necessary.
  • Cash and Asset Management: Oversee the management of branch cash flow, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Manage the branch's assets effectively.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Support sales initiatives by implementing strategies to increase sales and enhance profitability at the branch level.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess branch performance, identify problems, and develop solutions.
