Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse Psychiatric Adult Float
Start Date: 12/2/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Alma MI 48801
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights7:00 PM 7:30 AM 12
Shift Notes: 12 Hour Nights / No Calls / Every Other Weekend (36 Hour Guarantee)
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday
OnCall Requirements: No
COVID Vaccination:n/a
Travel Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction for one 13week contract)
Dress Code: Navy Blue
EMR: Epic
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct care to patients using the nursing process. This includes ongoing assessment of the total patient. The RN provides interventions to treat the presenting symptoms and evaluates the effect of nursing interventions and the patients responses. The RN functions as a team leader/member and resource to others. The RN delegates oversees and provides direction to support staff. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to establish goals and outcomes for each patient. The RN is responsible for meeting the needs of all types of patients.
Submission Requirements
- 2 Years of Experience Required
- Travel Experience Preferred
- BLS (AHA) and CPI Required
- Expected to go into the pull rotation can be pulled to Rehab Med/Surg or Obs REQUIRED
- Profile Requirements:
- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- State Licensure & Certifications (MI Lara & BLS AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- CPI
- Michigan
- Must be active at the time of submission!
