Job Description
Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Start Date: 11/25/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Petoskey MI 49770
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights 10:30 PM 7:00 AM 8
Shift Notes: 10:30p7a 40 hrs/week
Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend including holiday rotation if scheduled
OnCall Requirements: None

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager / ADON/ DON the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients for a shift of duty. Nursing care is provided through assessment implementation and evaluation of the plan of care. The RN adheres to the standards of care for the area manages the environment to maintain resident/patient safety and supervises the resident/patient care activity performance by nursing assistants and helpers. Follows all policies and procedures. Performs duties as defined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Follows where applicable JCAHO standards.
Submission Requirements
- At least two years of SNF/LTC Med Surg experience
- BLS (AHA)
- This is a challenging location to work at. This need is not for LPNs who may have difficulty handling highpaced/stressful climates.
- Travelers must clock out or they wont be compensated for that shift until a dispute is resolved.
- Work history/resume
- Home/taxable address (just need to be listed somewhere in the profile ex. resume in the notes section of the submittal)
- Skills checklist (must have been completed within 1 year of submission date)
- License verification
- Copy of BLS (AHA) or ARC
- References highly preferred (if not provided will be required to complete during onboarding if the candidate accepts an offer)
