Job Description
Position: Radiologic Technologist
Start Date: 12/9/2024
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Keene NH 03431
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Evenings 12
Shift Notes: 12hr shifts 36hr gt
Weekend Requirements: None/Holiday coverage required if needed/scheduled
OnCall Requirements: None
COVID Vaccination: Covid vaccinations are strongly recommended but not required
Travel Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction)
Dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided) business casual with a lab coat and basic plain personal scrubs. No hooded sweatshirts. Closedtoe shoes shoessneakers or clogs. Hair worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length no dangling earrings.
** Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following: Thanksgiving and the weekend after Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after New Years Eve/New Years Day and the weekend after
- Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of body requested by Physician.
- BONE DENSITY SCAN/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE IN PROFILE
- Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
- Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
- Operates film processing equipment.
- Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in the operating room emergency room or at the patients bedside.
- Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- 1 year of current Xray tech experience in a hospital setting Required
- BONE DENSITY SCAN/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE IN PROFILE
- MUST be proficient/highly experienced with the following; Fluoroscopy Digital Radiography Portables & OR carm Required
- MUST have experience with ALL age groups Required
- Previous travel experience Preferred
- NH MIRT REQUIRED! Temp available with a FAST turnaround for those who carry an equivalent state license.
- This is a small community without public transport. Traveler candidate must have their vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
