Job Description

Role: Technical Release Management Onsite

Location: Atlanta Dallas Seattle

Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills:

1. Define plan and manage release life cycle in an Agile framework

2. Plan the deployment of application components/microservices with related deliverables

3. Communicate the releaserelated tasks such as plans timelines requirements. Act as liaison between different teams organizations and stakeholders.

4. Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the thirdparty applications defect backlogs planned releases and infrastructure updates.

5. Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage/mitigate them such that the scope scheduled quality of the release and end customer experience is not affected.

6. Uncover issues and track the progress. Always working to improve the process of the release.

7. Make sure that the release is planned according to the requirements and budget.

8. Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release.

9. Create plans for the implementation and deployment as per the release schedule.

10. Continually provide status on the release activities

11. Communicate with release managers from different IT departments as needed when working across projects and programs.

12. Lead deployment activities to deploy the software successfully including clearly documented run books point of contacts and mitigation decisions and plans.

13. Team up with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software.

14. Lead/host meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and identify any roadblocks.

15. Supports technical teams by engaging on call or resources required to resolve issues; monitor and control changes to the release and deployments

16. Maintain information leveraging tools and data related to build test and release activities.

17. Make improvements in the methodologies used for change management development and delivery of software features functionality enhancements and hot fixes.

Desired Skills Responsibilities:

1. Experience and SME knowledge in one or more areas such as development testing system architecture or software configuration and deployment

2. Specific tools knowledge Microsoft Application Development Operations (MS ADO) Jira iTrack Power BI Salesforce.

3. Understand the design and interfaces for specific components of applications/micro Services in a release management portfolio.

4. Participate in planning definition and highlevel design of the system solution and explore alternatives

5. Engage with portfolio stakeholders Solution and Enterprise Architects to develop analyze split and realize the implementation of tech enablers or applications/microServices in release portfolio

6. Participate in project planning system and solution demos retrospective workshops

7. Ability to communicate to executive leadership business leaders as well as technical stakeholders

8. Provide guidance to partners and stakeholders for successful deployments and releases including the ability to lead and influence team members without direct supervision.

9. Advance the Release Management practice with industry best practices.

10. Drive release management process and tool transformation leading to on demand independent component deployments.
