Demand PlannerOnsite Beaverton oregon
Role OverviewWe are seeking an Demand Planner who will focus on the efficient and effective distribution of products and services to customers. Your role will involve demand planning inventory management delivery performance analysis and operational excellence with a primary focus on supporting the North America Value Stores assortment planning team.Responsibilities
Demand Planning
- Develop review and reconcile periodic demand plans including assortments flow and drops.
- Maximize revenue opportunities while minimizing closeout inventory.
- Communicate purchase positions and address forecast variances.
- Prioritize and resolve categoryspecific inventory issues effectively.
Performance Analysis
- Conduct analyses on inventory data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage and track key targets related to inventory and delivery performance.
- Build awareness and understanding of inventory management strategies and improvements.
Operational Excellence
- Utilize and maintain planning tools and their dependencies.
- Ensure accurate planning and effective communication across teams.
- Analyze and interpret daily weekly and monthly reports to inform decisions.
Collaboration
- Partner with a team of 10 12 fulltime and temporary employees to achieve planning goals.
- Foster crossfunctional relationships to ensure alignment on assortment and inventory strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred. Alternatives:
- 2 4 years of directly relevant work experience in planning or forecasting (store planning experience is a bonus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic understanding of planning tools and their application in business processes.
- Experience working with companies like Fred Meyer/Kroger or similar athletic brands (Columbia Adidas Under Armour etc.) is a plus.
