Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has openings for a Scrub/OR Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Woodsville NH 03785
Assignment Start Date: 1/6/2025
6 weeks Days 9hour shift 9 hours per week

Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.Seeking to hire an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Surgical Services department. Opportunity to Work in a Critical Access Hospital! Our Surgical Services department incorporates several areas that include preop operating room and recovery room.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
- Review upcoming surgical cases and take inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
- Passing the Surgeons instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
- Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies before the operation
- Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
- Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery
- Don and doff surgical attire including sterile gloves gowns and masks
- Cleans endoscopy scopes as needed
- Assists with transferring and positioning patients both to and from the surgical table
- Participates in stocking and restocking medical/surgical supplies
- Pulls cases for the next day
- Helps clean rooms after surgery to support a 30minute or less turnover for surgical and a 15minute or less turnover for endoscopy cases
- May occasionally assist surgeons in other areas of the hospital
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Minimum of 12 years experience working as a surgical technologist
- Must have experience in endoscopies general/ laparoscopic and orthopedic surgeries
Education:
- A graduate of an approved operating room (OR) technologist program with certification
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- BLS/BCLS certification is required
- Certification as a Surgery Technologist is required; willing to hire the right noncertified candidate who becomes certified within one year of hire preferred
EMR System: Cerner experience desired
Shift: Monday Thursday 7:00 am 4:30 pm on Call; required call commitment;
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Able to use Medical technologies and surgical technology and has a Technical understanding
- Able to create a safe effective environment
- Can Analyzing information
- Can perform diagnostic procedures
- Has effective communication skills
- Great People skills dependability quality focus and planning
- Must be able to understand written and oral instructions.
