Job Description

The Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system security reports to identify potential compliance violations on Windows operating systems. They will then work to develop and implement remediation plans to address these findings ensuring systems meet the organizations security benchmarks and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of Windows administration along with a working knowledge of common compliance frameworks. The engineer will need excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and identify the root cause of compliance failures. They must also possess excellent communication skills to document remediation procedures and collaborate with system administrators to ensure successful implementation.

Requirements
5 years of Active Directory and Windows administration/troubleshooting/security
5 years working in security implementations for Windows
Good understanding of PowerShell and Linux shell scripting e.g. python
Ideally 10 years and minimum of 5 years

  • Typically 2 rounds. First round Zoom audio meeting with technical questions. Second round Zoom video meeting with team(s)

What are the working hours time zone

  • 9am 5pm Eastern Time

What is the duration of this contract and is there a chance it will be extended

  • 6 months with extensions

What training will be provided for this contractor and what are first day expectations

  • Team members will train usage of tools and standards

What is the day to day of the person going to look like Please be specific.

  • Focus on project tickets attend project meetings and implement requirements.

Please provide specific days/times that you are available for interview scheduling purposes.

  • Monday/Wednesday before 12pm Eastern time
