Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team specializing in automotive painting and restoration. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with various materials and techniques to achieve highquality finishes. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance ensuring that all painting tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and masking areas as needed.
- Mix paints and other materials according to specifications for optimal results.
- Apply paint using spray guns brushes or rollers ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members on auto restoration projects providing input on color matching and design choices.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of components as required for vehicle restoration projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive painting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with dealership environments and autoestimating processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work and vehicle maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment related to painting tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering highquality results.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Auto body repair: 1 year (Required)
