Job Description

Job Title: CDL A Local NC Driver

Work Location: Asheville NC

Job Description:
Seeking for Experienced Local NC Company Drivers If you have a valid CDL and a passion for the open road.
Requirements:

Must possess a class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) & a valid medical card.
Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS ELD units Tablet etc).
Ability to utilize full hours of service.
Ability to follow and maintain safety protocols.
The driver should not be prohibited in DOT Clearinghouse.
Must be at least 23 years old.
Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) *No DUI in the last 5 years.
Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
2 years of experience.
Must have reliable transportation & Smartphone with data.
Must be able to work 5 days in the week (sometimes more if hours of service allow).

Responsibilities:

Must have knowledge of dry vans and reefer trailers.
Perform routine inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries mileage and log books.
Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report any issues or delays in delivery.
