Job Description
Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Amsterdam Netherlands
Sponsorship: Yes depending on requirements
Work Mode: Onsite/Hybrid
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. As an Azure Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing building and maintaining largescale data pipelines and architectures on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our data science and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration and processing. If you have a passion for data engineering and are proficient in PySpark Azure Databricks SQL and Azure Data Factory we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain largescale data pipelines and architectures on Microsoft Azure
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to ensure seamless data integration and processing
- Develop and maintain data processing workflows using PySpark and Azure Databricks
- Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Blob Storage
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Ensure data quality integrity and security across all data pipelines and architectures
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and optimize performance
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data engineering solutions meet business requirements
- Stay uptodate with the latest Azure data engineering technologies and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 3 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure data engineering
- Proficiency in PySpark Azure Databricks SQL and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data processing workflows data storage solutions and data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data quality integrity and security principles
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data pipeline issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with crossfunctional teams
- Ability to work in an onsite/hybrid work environment
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage Azure Blob Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Knowledge of data governance data lineage and data cataloging
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps and Git
- Certification in Azure Data Engineering or related field
