Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role your main responsibilities will include
- Planning curriculum lessons and special education programs using effective teaching methods.
- Maintaining regular contact with parents and involving them in their childs educational progress.
- Ensuring the classroom environment is well organized and conducive to learning.
- Instructing individuals and groups in various special education skill areas.
- Modifying curriculum according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting testing evaluations.
Requirements
- Active License for special education teacher in MA (moderate or severe disabilities)
- Bachelors degree is required with preferred classroom experience.
- 2 years of experience working as a special education teacher.
