Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 45 years of experience in the engineering industry and a strong understanding of electrical systems. As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and testing electrical equipment and systems as well as overseeing the installation and maintenance of these systems. You will also collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing electrical systems and equipment
- Testing and evaluating electrical systems to ensure they meet safety and quality standards
- Overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Collaborating with other engineers and professionals on project planning and execution
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 45 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models, Piping Isometrics, GA drawings, and Piping Layouts. In-depth knowledge of Piping BOM, MTO, and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
