Job Description
- Generate client proposals and scope of work documents based on sales staff discovery
- Prepare system engineering documentation
- Complies with the companys standards of professionalism
- Maintains personal technical training on product functions and installation techniques
- Complies with state and OSHA laws company policies and recommended procedures
Requirements
- CEDIA or InfoComm CTS Certification preferred. Any other key industry certifications are a plus.
- Knowledgeable with AV Residential systems like Savant Control4 Lutron Sonos and Crestron Home.
- Ability to work independently be selfdirected and make sound decisions based on customer satisfaction
- Communication and customer relation skills
- Preferred college or specialized courses in electronics engineering and construction or equivalent experience.
- AutoCAD Visio DTools and Microsoft Office Suite fluency.
- Ability to create read and interpret technical drawings.
- Basic construction knowledge.
- Excellent communication time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Ability to multitask.
Requirements: University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years' experience in an electrical and/or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
Education
University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. CTS-I Certification Preferred
