Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps/Azure Platform Cloud Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. As an Azure Platform Cloud Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining Azurebased solutions with a focus on API management DevOps and security. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of APIs and services. Responsibilities:

1. API Management:
   
1. Support development teams in their development of APIs
   
2. Implement API solutions using Azure API Management (APIM)
   
3. Design and maintain RESTful services and integrate APIs with various enterprise applications
   
4. Collaborate with development teams to define API specifications and requirements
   
5. Ensure high availability reliability and performance of APIs through monitoring and optimization
   
2. Azure DevOps:
   
1. Set up configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD
   
2. Automate build test and deployment processes using Azure DevOps
   
3. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like ARM templates Terraform or Azure Bicep
   
4. Ensure seamless integration of APIs and services through automated deployment workflows
   
3. Security and Governance:
   
1. Implement security best practices for APIs including OAuth OpenID Connect and JWT
   
2. Establish API governance policies and ensure adherence to standards
   
3. Conduct regular security audits and reviews of API implementations
   
4. Collaboration and Support:
   
1. Work closely with stakeholders to understand integration and DevOps requirements and translate them into technical solutions
   
2. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for API and DevOpsrelated issues
   
3. Conduct training sessions and workshops for development teams on API management and DevOps practices
   
5. Continuous Improvement:
   
1. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management DevOps and cloud computing
   
2. Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance the API management and DevOps process
   
3. Continuously improve API performance scalability and security as well as CI/CD pipeline efficiency
   

Requirements

1. Education:
   
1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
   
2. Experience:
   
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in API management with at least 3 years working with Azure API Management
   
2. Proven experience in setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines
   
3. Experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs
   
4. Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions Logic Apps and Azure Service Bus
   
3. Skills:
   
1. Strong understanding of API security frameworks and protocols
   
2. Proficient in API design and development using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
   
3. Experience with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) and build automation
   
4. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates Terraform or Azure Bicep
   
5. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
   
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
