Job Description
SQL Server Database Engineer(Azure/Databricks)
Location: Austin TX /Day 1 onsite
This is a Fulltime position
Requirements:
- Tech Stack: SQL SQL Server Azure (Data Factory) Data Modeling Data Pipelines Databricks
- 7 Years of Experience
- 5 years data analysis experience
- Cloud certification (i.e. Azure Databricks)
Qualifications:
- Experience with building data pipelines and analytics solution to stream and process datasets at low latencies.
- Knowledge of Data Engineering and Data Operational Excellence using standard methodologies.
- Expert level skills writing and optimizing complex SQL.
- Strong Knowledge of data warehousing frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience in data mining profiling and analysis
- Must have handson experience in MS SQL and Azure Data Factory development.
- Experience with complex data modelling ELT design and using large databases in a business environment.
- Five years experience with languages like SQL (Python or Java) or similar language
- Must have at least three years of work experience in Big Data projects such as Microsoft Azure Synapse or similar a must
Experience:
- 2 years in endtoend design develop and implement of cloud data architecture.
- 3 years of experience with a cloud migration
- 2 years defining cloud architecture requirements and gathering user stories for analytic product outputs
- 2 years managing cloud migrations and setting milestones and timelines.
- 2 years of stakeholder management in a lowdata maturity environment.
- 2 years of experience with data governance data security and compliance.
- 2 years developing and managing data stacks and dataflow layer using metadata.
