We are working with our client on a remote Inland Marine Claims Adjuster.

The Tango Specialty Insurance Services is currently seeking a motivated remote full time and experienced Inland Marine Adjuster to join our dynamic Claims Team.
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for coverage determination investigation evaluation negotiation and resolution of first and third party Inland Marine claims. The Adjuster will regularly interact with Insureds Brokers Agents and Underwriting Partners. Claim assignments are nationwide requiring the Adjuster to be licensed in all states. The Inland Marine Adjuster specializes in handling a variety of claim types and products including Contractors Equipment Builders Risk Motor Truck Cargo Bailee Installation Commercial Property Business Income Interruption and Extra Expense and other Specialty Lines of Business.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Maintain appropriate state adjuster licenses and continuing education credits.
- Handle a robust volume of Inland Marine Claims from minimally challenging to more complex high value matters.
- Work within specific limits and authority on assignments. This position will require the interaction and collaboration with other claims team members underwriting partners and management.
- Use discretion and judgment in the claim handling process as well as the assignment of outside independent adjusters consultants and counsel based on the facts and complexity of each matter.
- Identify potentially suspicious claims with knowledge of fraud compliance detection and prevention.
- Identify claims with subrogation or salvage potential.
- Possess technical knowledge and skills to interpret coverage estimate damage and negotiate settlements in a timely manner.
- Travel may be required to represent the company at claims meetings mediation arbitration and/or trials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent 10 to 15 years of insurance adjusting experience.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Understand the concepts of thirdparty legal liability to handle claims involving the property of others .
- Be proficient in core loss estimation and scope of loss skills
- Able to work independently in a fastpaced environment prioritize projects and assignments.
- Dedicated to meeting or exceeding the expectations of internal external partners and customers
- Make informed confident and timely decisions.
- Strong communication organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in the understanding of insurance coverage forms such as AAIS.
- Proficient with computer operating system and programs such MS Excel MS Word etc.
