Job Description

Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital is seeking a locum physician specializing in Gastroenterology!

Job Details:
Practice Setting: Acute care community hospital ED and inpatient consults
Reason for Coverage: provider on medical
Call Ratio: all
Clinical Areas: Adult Hospital Gastro
Onsite Lab and Onsite XRay
Will Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine be Required: No
Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients Per Locum Per Day: n/a
Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per Locum Per Day: 510
How Many Physicians in Your Group: solo
Average Number of Patients Per Day: 510
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level/Designation: not trauma

Required Procedures:
Lower GI Endoscopy Colonoscopy Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:
with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser) with Biopsy Therapeutic Diagnostic with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Travel Reimbursement Information:
Lodging: xx150/night
All other bookings approve for standard/economy rates

Requirement description :
Board Certified REQUIRED
Active VA license REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS REQUIRED
TEMPS FOR CLEAN CANDIDATE ESP IF ALREADY PLACED AT BON SECOURS SYSTEM

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Virginia

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : 24 hr
On Call Requirements : 24 hr
