Job Description
75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 13 weeks assignment 2 years experience current required in large ED. Must be a team player flexible and accustomed to fast pacedenvironment. Must have successfullycompleted at least one 13week travel assignment. CERTIFICATIONS: BLS ACLS PALS and NIHSS certifications required. BLSACLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association AmericanHealth and Safety or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelersthat do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed. SHIFTS: NIGHT Shift 7a7p/ 7p7a Shift length 12 May fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Call requirements One 8 hour call shift every six weeks Floating requirements Yes Weekend requirements Yes 45 weekend shifts in a 6 week period. Holiday requirements: Yes Travelers are first to floatwithin facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts. Guaranteed Hours : Negotiable between 36 and 48 ORIENTATION: The first week of the contract not to exceed40 total hours and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top pant and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
