Adhering to radiation dose reference levels and monitoring and taking necessary actions if estimated dose exceeds set levels.
Communicating effectively with patients to identify service requirements ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport.
Preparing patients and areas for procedures including positioning patients adjusting equipment and setting exposure factors.
Following safety requirements infectioncontrol drug and radiation policies protocols and techniques including sterile techniques during invasive procedures.
Maintaining equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Reporting any equipment issues to management or appropriate department.
Assisting in maintaining supplies inventory.
Screening individuals according to approved policies and procedures to ensure safety.
Maintaining all relevant documentation such as patient history consent forms and medical imaging records.
Providing services in a timely accurate and costefficient manner in compliance with established standards policies and procedures.
Administering first aid and using emergency cart when necessary.
Serving as a preceptor providing quality training to new team members and on new services and initiatives.
Taking oncall duties if required.
Possessing an ARRTR Radiography (ARRTR) certification/license/registration.
