Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced CDL B Truck Driver to join their team for local runs handling stickshift trucks with safety and reliability. This fulltime role includes opportunities for overtime and offers a robust benefits package to ensure a rewarding career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate CDL B stickshift/manual transmission trucks on local routes
- Complete pretrip and posttrip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Secure loads and ensure cargo is transported safely according to regulations
- Maintain accurate logbooks and mileage records for all runs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow designated schedules
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience driving stickshift/manual transmission trucks
- Ability to pass DOT and Federal drug and alcohol tests
- Current medical card
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and adherence to compliance standards
