Job Description

Join our team as an Inspector in a critical role focused on maintaining quality standards for cable manufacturing processes. We are seeking motivated individuals who have a keen eye for detail a strong background in cable inspections and a commitment to ensuring product excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual inspections of inprocess and completed cables using established methods setups and specifications.
  • Utilize measuring devices blueprints diagrams and inspection instructions to ensure product quality.
  • Identify accept reject or rework defective units or systems as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with assemblers engineers and management to resolve quality issues.
  • Follow and uphold quality standards in line with IPCA620 guidelines for soldered and crimped cable assemblies.
  • Support the team by taking on assembly tasks related to inspection areas when needed.
  • Document and track inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
  • Proactively monitor and verify quality compliance in accordance with statistical or process control procedures.
  • Communicate and interface diplomatically with various departments customers and stakeholders to address quality concerns.
  • Maintain proficiency with PCs and modern software applications.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in cable inspection and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with soldered and crimp inspections per IPCA620 standards.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings diagrams parts lists and IPC manuals.
  • Detailoriented and organized with the ability to maintain documentation and adhere to revision control protocols.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing across diverse teams.
  • Prior experience with inspection in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant applications.
  • No degree is required.

Shift Details:
Monday to Thursday 3:30 PM EST to 2:00 AM with potential overtime on weekends. Candidates must complete a medical screening as part of the selection process.
