Summary: Perform duties to install repair and maintain production and buildings electrical systems and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work from blueprints wiring diagrams sketches PLC Programming Equipment and instructions.
Plan layout and install electrical systems circuits and equipment.
Make electrical repairs diagnose problems replace or repair components test and make operating adjustments.
Modify existing electrical systems and circuits work with PLCs and prepare wiring diagrams to record changes.
Replace building and production equipment such as motors and control panels as required.
Repair electric motors and test in electric shop.
Fill out maintenance logbook.
Maintain inventory of electrical materials and supplies.
Coordinate work with other electricians and followup on projects/ electronic testing equipment.
Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems.
Use electrical meters and gauges common hand and hand power tools hand carts high lift and ladders.
Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Use all varieties of precision measuring instruments such as electrical meters and gauges equivalent to a complete electricians apprenticeship years experience.
Knowledge of punch press equipment and metal forming processes a plus.
Team oriented Safety conscious Self motivated

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing field.
NAPA Certification a plus
