Job Description:
Duties
- Lead electrical installations and renovations in residential commercial and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with NEC standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to coordinate work schedules and ensure project timelines are met.
- Mentor and train junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed materials used and project progress.
Skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading for effective project execution.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
- Experience working with both highvoltage and lowvoltage systems.
- Strong ability to renovate existing electrical systems while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and teamwork dynamics.
- Competent in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
