TRAVEL 13 WEEKS $3203 PER WEEK
Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Reports to: Manager of Cancer Care Services
Work Schedule: 5 8hour shifts MondayFriday 8am4:30pm and 9am5:30pm
Job Responsibilities: Perform radiotherapy procedures provide patient care treatment and services within the scope of license and competencies.
Education Requirement: Minimum of associates degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy Bachelors degree in radiation therapy preferred.
Licensures/Certifications: State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist ARRT license CPR certified.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills ability to problemsolve handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions.
Organizational Responsibilities: Uphold mission and service values show commitment and engagement and demonstrate personal growth and engagement.
Essential Job Functions: Deliver prescribed radiation therapy obtain patient history schedule patients prepare documentation prepare room and equipment for patient reinforce recommendations perform verification and film exposures and participate in educational programs.
Physical Requirements: Medium work exerting up to 2050 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 1025 pounds of force frequently.
Psychological/Mental Requirements: Analytical abilities memory problemsolving and creativity.
Environmental Considerations: No special considerations.
Protective Equipment: No special considerations.
