Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to lead our operations team and oversee the daily activities at our facility. The ideal candidate will be a handson leader with a proven track record in plant management combining technical expertise leadership skills and strategic thinking. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations focusing on safety customer service profitability efficiency and team engagement. The Plant Manager will play a critical role in driving operational success fostering a culture of excellence and championing continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant operations ensuring production targets are met while maintaining highquality standards
- Implement and enforce standardized operating procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency
- Foster a safetyfirst culture by implementing and enforcing safety protocols
- Investigate and address safety incidents promptly and implement preventive measures
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to drive productivity
- Establish and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry and customer standards
- Identify opportunities for improvement in product quality and consistency
- Manage resources including manpower equipment and materials to meet production demands
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and reduce operational costs
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and expectations
- Work with logistics teams to ensure efficiency customer satisfaction and ontime delivery
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of production staff supervisors and support personnel
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducting regular team meetings to discuss goals address concerns and encourage feedback
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Operations Business Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
- Proven experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment
- Indepth knowledge of safety regulations manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
