Were looking for a Veterinary Assistant who is as passionate about helping clients as they are about helping their furry friends. This position is fulltime but will consider parttime for the perfect candidate. We offer a schedule with some flexibility and the opportunity to become a leader in our clinic. Our ideal candidate will be a selfstarter a great multitasker a team player and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist veterinarians with appointments
- Educate clients about wellness and prevention nutrition and individual pet health needs
- Provide highquality service to all clients while maintaining maximum productivity
- Initiate laboratory radiology and treatment procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients before during and after anesthetic procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian
- Anticipate veterinarian and team member needs
- Foster a positive working culture built on our values
- Support a practice environment that promotes collaboration and teamwork and ensures the delivery of quality compassionate effective and efficient health care to pets
- Comply with all practice policies quality assurance guidelines and minimum standards of care
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent computer use for long periods
- Walking/standing for long periods bending reaching grasping and repetitive motions
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. unassisted

Experience:
Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine is a plus but not required as we will teach you! Experience handling cats and dogs is a must!
