Location: 27616 Commerce Oaks Drive Oak Ridge North TX 77385
Job Type: Parttime Fulltime
Job Description:
Job responsibilities include:
Monitoring dogs in an open play yard environment and keeping them safe and happy
Learn all the dogs by name as they come into your yards to play
Cleaning cabins prep room play yards
Basic dog baths & nail trims
Keeping the dogs personal belongings together feeding & watering help keep dog cabins clean
Team Player
Communicate effectively with peers and leadership
The ability to handle/manage different sizes/breeds of dogs while they socialize with other dogs in the play yards. (If large dogs intimidate you this may not be the job for you)
Regularly demonstrate sincere concern for the care attitudes and behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with their pet parent
Be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Reliable Transportation & Punctual. Being dependable is a must for this position
Qualifications:
- MUST LOVE DOGS!
- No experience is required but previous kennel experience is a plus!
- Passion for the care of dogs no fear of dogs
- Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Able to pass a background/criminal check
- Willing to undergo drug/alcohol testing
- Fast motivated learner
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Must be dependable and punctual an absolute requirement
- Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Able to stand/walk for an entire shift
- Capable of lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds
