Job Summary:
Must have minimum education of MSN or DNP from an accredited school and board eligibility.
Requires at least one year of experience working with mentally ill adults and children.
Must possess a New York State DEA license and obtain NY State Suboxone Waiver within six months of hire.
Responsibilities include providing psychiatric evaluations medication management and education to clients.
Expected to conduct substance use assessments and offer cooccurring care including MedicationAssisted Treatment (MAT).
Will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
Must complete evaluations and documentation for various agencies as needed.
Should have a thorough understanding of mental health diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
Must be able to work independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Requires excellent problemsolving critical thinking and communication skills.
Must have strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in computer use including EHR systems Microsoft Office and the Internet is necessary.
Must adhere to ethical standards and maintain professional boundaries.
Expected to engage in effective communication cooperation and collaboration with colleagues.
Must participate in staff development and training as required.
Physical demands of the position include sitting for extended periods and occasional lifting.
