Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a Road Warrior (NonCDL Delivery Van Driver) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and accurately delivering orders to customers.
Duties:
Safely operate company delivery vehicle
Perform regular safety and maintenance checks on company vehicles
Deliver customer orders ontime and accurately
Merchandise customer retail locations by cleaning and organizing shelves rotating inventory based on expiration dates and identifying slow moving items for potential replacement
Positive and professional communications with customers
Counting and handling money
Tracking and submitting receipts for fuel and other expenses
Writing customer sales orders and credits
Sharing customer information and sales opportunities with company representatives
Maintaining customer database
Warehouse support as needed
Qualifications:
Proficient in English
Clean driving record (must be over 23 years old)
Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions
Excellent verbal communication skills
Prior experience in merchandising and/or route delivery a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Attention to detail and sense of urgency are absolutely necessary
