As a Mechanic you will be responsible for the following:
Completing preventative maintenance on all wreckers and heavy equipment
Repairing all equipment as needed
Ordering all filters and chemicals needed for the department
Maintaining preventative maintenance
Boarding and tracking miles and hours of all equipment
Assisting and attends safety meetings and translates to Spanish when needed
Ordering tools and equipment for repairs
Vehicle maintenance included but not limited to: Inspections
Paperwork on repairs
Keeping area clean and in good housekeeping for inspections
Requirements
High School graduate BUT NOT REQUIRED
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs. repetitive and up to 75 lbs. occasionally
Personal protective equipment required Hard hats and safety glasses gloves and any other safety gear will be issues upon request
Forklift RTF Case 586G preferred experience is a plus!
