We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team in Bengaluru India. As a key member of our food and beverage department you will oversee all aspects of banquet operations ensuring exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests.
- Lead and manage the banquet team setting high standards for service excellence and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with various departments including culinary stewarding and conference services to ensure seamless event execution
- Oversee the planning and coordination of banquet events from initial client meetings to postevent evaluations
- Manage inventory equipment and staffing to optimize operational efficiency and costeffectiveness
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and maintain service standards
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally ensuring positive resolutions
- Maintain accurate records for beverage consumption inventory and event details
- Participate in BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings and effectively communicate changes to the team
- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation policies in all banquet operations
- Analyze event feedback and market trends to continually improve banquet offerings and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors
Qualifications :
- Proven leadership experience in food & beverage management specifically in banquet operations
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Event Management or a related field preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and banquet management software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to make quick sound decisions
- Teamoriented mindset with the ability to motivate and lead staff
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Knowledge of current food and beverage industry trends and best practices
- Familiarity with event planning and management principles
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in food service
- Ability to maintain calm and courteous demeanor in highstress situations
