Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Engineer responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- Complies at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Constantly monitors all painted areas for signs of wear and tear
- Prepares walls for paint
- Paints walls paper walls and paint trim
- Responsible for maintaining and looking after all Painting supplies
Qualifications :
- Must be able to repair and replace wallpaper
- Previous experience in a hotel or related field is an asset
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must be effective at handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing identifying and solving problems as necessary
