Role Overview
As an HR Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for managing and executing all payroll processes with accuracy and compliance. Your expertise in German labor law and payroll systems will ensure that employees are paid on time and in accordance with legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage payroll for all employees ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records including taxes benefits and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with German labor laws and tax regulations.
- Handle employee queries related to payroll benefits and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline payroll processes.
- Prepare and submit reports to internal stakeholders and government authorities.
- Keep uptodate with changes in German labor law and payroll regulations.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in payroll processing ideally in a German company.
- Strong knowledge of German labor law social security regulations and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office applications (e.g. Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customerserviceoriented mindset.
- Fluency in German (written and spoken); English is a plus.
