Job Title: Networking Cabeling Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Networking Cabeling Technician to join our international firm in Cairo Egypt. As a Networking Cabeling Technician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain network cabling systems in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network cabling issues including identifying and repairing faulty components
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on existing network cabling systems
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement new network cabling solutions
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the best cabling solutions for different locations
- Keep detailed records of all network cabling activities including documentation of installations repairs and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols while working on cabling systems
- Keep uptodate with the latest networking technologies and trends to make Recommendations for improvements and upgrades to the network infrastructure
- Provide technical support and assistance to other team members and endusers as needed
- Maintain inventory of all network cabling equipment and supplies
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network cabling installation and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols including TCP/IP DNS DHCP and VLANs
- Familiarity with various cabling types such as copper fiber and coaxial
- Proficient in using network testing tools and equipment such as cable testers and certification tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to different locations as needed
