Key Responsibilities
- Develop maintain and generate CMM programs to inspect and verify production materials and components.
- Review blueprints and specifications to establish correct inspection criteria following best practices.
- Operate and troubleshoot CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality policies.
- Train and mentor quality assurance personnel on CMM operations and best practices.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with CMM programming software such as PCDMIS.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in quality control or metrology.
- Experience with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with ANSI/ASME and ISO standards.
