Our client is a leading supplier of precision machined parts and subassemblies located in Lowell MA. Specializing in close tolerance CNC machining for prototypes and production runs they are committed to delivering topquality service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machine Operator to join a fastpaced manufacturing team. The successful candidate will efficiently operate CNC milling machines perform inspections and complete necessary documentation to meet customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC milling machines in a highpaced shop environment
Perform firstpiece inspections and inprocess inspections adjusting as required
Complete necessary documentation including job travelers operator check sheets and inspection reports
Assist team members to meet manufacturing goals and ensure quality standards are upheld
Work independently while knowing when to ask for support from others
Communicate effectively with the team to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
Qualifications:
Technical drawing and CNC programming skills
3 years of experience in CNC machining and milling
Proficiency in Mastercam programming
Ability to read and understand technical prints
Strong attention to detail and precision in all work
Knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment
Excellent problemsolving skills
At least 3 years of experience as an operator/setup for CNC Vertical 3Axis milling centers
