We are looking for a versatile and detailoriented Logistics and Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role combines logistics coordination with purchasing management ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services essential to our operations especially in the medical device industry. The ideal candidate will have a blend of supply chain vendor management and regulatory knowledge with a passion for improving processes and achieving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers ensuring timely delivery.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies for procuring quality materials and services costeffectively.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and align procurement with customer demand.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (R&D Quality Production) to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
- Track shipments and update relevant stakeholders on order status.
- Support accurate record maintenance of inventory shipments and transactions using our inventory management system.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations governing logistics purchasing and supply chain operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics and purchasing activities cost savings supplier performance and market trends.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve logistics and purchasing processes reduce costs and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Requirements :
- Bachelor degree program in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration Economics Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in logistics purchasing or supply chain roles
- Strong organizational interpersonal skills and communication in Hebrew and English must.
- Basic understanding of logistics and procurement principles and practices; prior experience in ERP operations and medical device industry knowledge is advantageous.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical device industry (e.g. ISO 13485 FDA regulations) advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Enthusiasm to learn grow and adapt in a dynamic environment.
