Job Posting: Lawyer – Personal Injury Law (Relocation Calgary)
Would you be interested in relocating to Calgary to join a a toptier personal injury law firm with offices across Canada They are seeking a Lawyer with a 35 year call to join their Personal Injury team. This role requires someone to step in to the firm and take on a full practice/file load. The firm fosters a culture of collaboration where you will work and learn from seasoned professionals who are eager to help you grow.
You’ll work on a wide variety of files handling everything from client intake to resolution. The firm trusts its team members with substantial responsibility early on allowing you to develop your legal skills quickly through direct exposure to discoveries mediations motions and settlement negotiations.
Your Role as a Personal Injury Lawyer
You’ll be an integral part of the personal injury team in the management and handling of files from intake to resolution. Key responsibilities include:
- Draft and review a variety of legal documents such as contracts agreements pleadings and correspondence.
- Represent clients in negotiations mediations arbitrations and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to create effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on issues related to Alberta laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate case files records and documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation legal trends and precedents relevant to Alberta.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
- Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
Requirements
- Called to the Bar in a Canadian province and licensed to practice law or a Foreign Trained Lawyer with completed NCA and permanent residency in Canada.
- 35 years of experience handling litigation and personal injury files.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong time management attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Eagerness to learn and a positive cando attitude.
Job Type
- Fulltime
- Pay: From $105000.00 to $115000 base salary per year
